About

I’ve always be deeply interested in everyday life’s stories, my core themes are about self-identity development, family relations and gender differences.
I was born in Milan in 1982 during a summer storm.
When I was ten years old, my dream was to become a brilliant reporter, one of those globetrotter, independent and fearless women. Today I’m not so cool, but I am a growing up girl close to be herself.
When I was nineteen, thanks to a scholarship, I attended the private Academy Istituto Italiano di Fotografia, where I’ve been working as studio assistant and tutor for the following two years. From 2002 to 2008 I was assistant for fashion and advertising photographers but I smelt it wasn’t my way. Since 2007 I’m focusing on social photography, I love looking for stories and go deep through any subject I choose. I often work for municipalities, cultural no-profit associations and social theatre workshops, dealing with old people, prisoners and adolescents. In 2010 I met Alice Demontis, one of my favourite person, so we join our ways to live storytelling and professional experiences to focus on portrait, working as personal photographers and focusing in wedding and family photojournalism. So we are still working together in Ordine della Giarrettiera.
Nowdays, à la Guerre!
